SMET is a company purchased by CFNR in 2008 in partnership 50/50 with Duferco. Set up in Brussels outer harbour since a hundred years, SMET operations are linked to its ideally position in outer harbor in total supply chain : SMET operations offering handling, warehousing, fluvial navigation and fowarding services.
 
SMET also owns a shipping agency (Brussels Shipping).
 
On its 20 000 m2 ground, in concession untill 2020, SMET handles polluted soils, scraps, sands and gravels and mettalurgic half finished products. The compagny is doing product redistribution through out rievr, road and rail. Its main advantages are neighbourhood of Brussels majors trunk roads and multimodal approch.
